Element Staffing is recruiting for a Heated Products Technician for a specialized manufacturer in the gas and laboratory services industry. This role will support the assembly, wiring, testing, and production of custom heated blanket products used in industrial and technical applications. The Heated Products Technician will work directly alongside the lead technician responsible for building and wiring each product and will receive hands-on training in internal design, construction, and testing processes. This is a hands-on production role that requires exceptional attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to closely follow technical instructions and documented procedures. Candidates with prior electrical assembly or wiring experience, exposure to thermocouples, electrical troubleshooting, or low-voltage electrical systems will be especially well suited for this position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist with the assembly, wiring, and production of custom heated blanket products
- Work directly with the lead technician to learn internal product construction methods, wiring practices, and production standards
- Follow detailed work instructions, wiring diagrams, and assembly procedures with a high degree of precision
- Assist with installing heating elements, wiring connections, electrical components, insulation materials, and protective coverings
- Support testing and inspection of finished products to verify functionality, wiring integrity, and compliance with internal quality standards
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical or assembly issues identified during production or testing
- Utilize knowledge of thermocouples, temperature control systems, heating elements, low-voltage electrical systems, and basic electrical testing tools when applicable
- Measure, cut, prepare, and assemble materials used in heated product manufacturing
- Maintain accurate production documentation and records as required
- Help organize workstations, tools, materials, and components to support efficient workflow
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to product quality, consistency, and production efficiency
- Perform other duties as assigned
Years of Experience: 2–5+ years of experience in electrical assembly, production assembly, manufacturing, wiring, maintenance, or related technical environments.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Electrical certifications, vocational electrical training, or related technical education are a plus.
Shift/Travel: Monday–Friday 8am-5pm. Flexibility may be required based on production demands. Minimal travel expected.
Compensation: $25–$30/hr depending on experience
