Job Title: Logistics Specialist
Job Description: Element Staffing is recruiting for multiple Logistics Specialists to work for a clinical diagnostics company in Houston, TX. This role will primarily handle the operational tasks related to kit orders, inventory management, supplies preparation, and collaboration with internal teams to fulfill client requirements efficiently. The Logistics Specialist is also responsible for utilizing CRM software such as Salesforce to track and manage orders, inventory, and customer communications.
Duties/Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- Input kit orders into the tracking system (including CRM software like Salesforce), ensure supply availability, and place orders for required materials.
- Monitor the status of orders and communicate with internal teams to ensure timely processing and fulfillment.
- Prepare labels, collection containers, sample storage boxes, and other clinical supplies associated with sample processing and shipping, demonstrating self-direction and minimal supervision.
- Ensure that supplies are prepared and available in accordance with customer needs.
- Create LIMS-compatible electronic manifests or input orders for send-out testing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
- Ensure that manifest data is logged correctly in CRM systems for tracking purposes.
- Promptly fulfill client orders for shipping supplies while overseeing kit inventory levels and monitoring supply expiration dates.
- Regularly update the inventory system (CRM software) to ensure real-time tracking of supply levels.
- Assist in the receiving process for all kit materials, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Input received materials into the CRM system to ensure accurate tracking and inventory management.
- Collaborate on special projects as assigned, contributing to logistical operations and enhancement efforts.
- Work closely with the Customer Experience team to align logistics operations with customer expectations.
- Physically move, pack, and lift large boxes daily, particularly concerning clinical supplies.
- Ensure proper packaging and labeling according to shipping guidelines.
- Follow established processes and procedures set by the Logistics Manager, ensuring compliance and efficiency in all tasks.
- Update CRM system regularly to ensure the latest information is available to all relevant parties.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
