Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Job Description: Element Staffing is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer for an energy-related company in Houston, TX. The Mechanical Engineer will join a multi-disciplinary team to deliver thermal storage applications to the commercial and industrial refrigeration market across the United States. Projects will include both the design and physical installation of thermal energy storage systems as well as the implementation of refrigeration control solutions and ongoing customer technical support.
Duties/Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- Previous project engineering experience is highly preferred
- Conduct on-site surveys
- Generate installation drawings and contractor Scopes of Work
- Generate Sequences of Operation
- Coordinate with customer technical staff
- Commissioning of projects
- Provide Sales with projected energy savings and costs for potential projects
- Provide technical assistance for existing clients
- 2-5+ years engineering, refrigeration, refrigeration controls, HVAC, and/or energy efficiency experience
- Hands-on mechanical and electrical experience
- Strong experience with AutoCAD products
- Travel to customer locations around the U.S. is expected
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
